When they reached an area which was covered by another NVA unit, they
were also shot. Thuy could not explain the incident.
EXECUTIONS WITNESSED

massacre on Highway 1, he also saw the execution of people in Quang-Tri
reported to be “servants” of the Saigon regime.”
